Tiivistelmä:In most work related appraisal superiors (managers) rate their subordinates on various dimensions salient to their work. Although downward appraisal is the most commonly used, ratings can in theory be made by superiors, peers, subordinates or self. This paper is concerned with the congruence of multiple sources of ratings on managerial performance in two cultures, specifically the congruence of self and subordinate, self and superior and superior and subordinate ratings. It is also concerned with the best predictors of overall superior's ratings.
