| Tiivistelmä: | For monitoring short-run production the main recommendations to date have been - to use a deviation control method (CUSUM or EWMA) with its increased power for early detection of small process shifts, - to use a chart based on individuals' data to monitor control variables, or - to chart deviations from nominal (DNOM) when different part types are run through the same process. The last of these methods is considered in this paper. |
