Tiivistelmä:The design and implementation of computer-based work monitoring systems can result in changes in the organization, job and task. Electronic performance monitoring (EPM) systems are based on principles of work simplification and work rationalization. Depending on the management and design principles guiding the system development effort, there are 2 major consequences: these new working arrangements can enable/disable the employee to cope better/worse with job demands, lowering/increasing the risk for stress-related health effects.
