| Tiivistelmä: | Although traditional strategic planning has met with increasing criticism of late, organizations still need to formulate strategies that will define and shape their future. The means for doing so, however, is changing. No longer a linear process carried out by a senior management or designated planners alone, strategy is becoming the province of people at all levels of the organization. The emphasis on the formal planning process and on the planning document itself is disappearing. Instead , we see more organic, iterative processes that, by making use of the insights of those in direct contact with customers, reflect the flattening of hierarchies. |
