| Tiivistelmä: | To reduce poverty by means of economic growth is the socioeconomic object of development and accordingly this paper offers a weighted indicator pattern to promote social welfare and eliminate poverty. Government policies are widely discussed. The authors consider that the national economic growth speed and per capita national income level may cover the wide gap of poverty degree and living quality of the people. As usual to take per capita GNP as the standard to measure the degree of a nation's development and the welfare of its people is, to a greater extent, lopsided. Indicators of "weighted average" or "weighted poverty" should be set to promote social welfare and to reduce and eliminate poverty. |
