Tiivistelmä:600 randomly selected Indian companies were assigned to one of 4 groups: the dollar incentive group, the prize give away group, the joint effects group, and a control group. The prize give away group yielded a response rate of 25 percent that was significantly higher than the 7 percent of either the joint effects or the control group. Considering the prize give away had the least cost per response, it clearly appears superior to the other two tactics in enhancing response rates.
