Tiivistelmä:The rights from pension and disability insurance are legally completely regulated and quantified, so that upon acquirement they are exactly determinable as regards the amount. The ground for such approach to the regulation of statutory insurance is Article 50 of the constitution of the Repubic of Slovenia. In the paragraph 2 it explicitly directs the state to regulate this kind of insurance by statute, and at the same time it imposes on it the liability to guarantee its functioning. The rights are separately protected, while their status is regulated in such a way that they are defined as inalienable personal property rights which cannot be taken away, diminished or restricted, except in the cases determined by statute.Along with the planned reform of pension and disability insurance it will be necessary to ensure, taking into consideration the content and long-term nature of statutory insurance and the status of rights, a special system of protection of acquired and expected rights.
