| Tiivistelmä: | According to the forecast of the main materials markets in the last three quarters of 1996, the price trends are as follows: (1)The supply of and demand for steel products will roughly balance and the prices of steel products will rise steadily. (2)There will be full supply of copper resources and their prices will fall gradually. (3)The price of lead will decline to some extent. (4) The price of coal will rise by a big margin. It is estimated that the 1996's output of coal will reach 1.35 billion tons, an increase of 5% or so over last year. (5)The prices of chemical industrial products will fall. (6)The supply of timber resources will increase and the price of cement will rise within stability. (7)The market of machinery and electronic products will slump and the prices for automobiles, motorcycles will slide downward. |
