| Tiivistelmä: | According to measuring and calculating, China's GDP growth rate was 9% in the first half of 1996, which was slightly lower than 10.3% in the same period of last year. The social investment in fixed assets increased by 16%, sliding sharply compared with 25.20% in the same period of last year. Among it, the state-owned enterprises' investment volume amounted to 425.3 billion yuan, an increase of 13% over the same period of last year. The total retail volume of social consumption goods was 11.469 billion yuan, up 22% with actual growth rate of 13.5% (deducting price factor). |
