| Tiivistelmä: | The 1997 forecast shows the following: The overall economic operation will be at the rising stage. The enterprises' overall economic returns will increase, to some extent. GDP will continue to be kept at 10% or so. Inflation rate will be controlled at 7%-8%. Financial income and expenditure will increase 19% and 18% respectively. The state's foreign exchange reserve will basically be kept at the figure of US$ 100 billion or so. The total retail volume of social consumer goods will grow by 24% compared with last year's, with an actual growth rate of 14% when allowing for price hikes. The total scale of investment in social fixed assets will stand at the figure of 2500 billion yuan or so. The increase margin of money supply will retain roughly the same level as that two years ago. |
