Tiivistelmä: | Improvement programs should not be undertaken to improve customer satisfaction or employee morale, although both should improve. The real reason to start an improvement process is to increase profits. The complexity of today's business environment requires managers to evaluate all alternatives before committing resources to an improvement process. This article discussed how total business management, total cost management, total productivity management, total quality management, and total technology management can be combined to improve an organization's performance. |
