| Tiivistelmä: | Six years ago, Shenzhen made a demand on itself that it would develop into a multi-functional international city, which conforms to the route orientation of shift of focus of world economic development. This is the historical premise of developing Shenzhen into an international city. It has already had conditions for doing so. In the early 1990s, Shenzhen Special Economic Zone became the axis city of a group of cities in Pearl River Delta. It has advantageous regional position and rich seaport resources. Besides it is concentrating effort on pushing forward at the same time under taking the construction of international seaport. Moreover, Shenzhen has the advanced international trade and transit trade. |
