| Tiivistelmä: | Since the beginning of 1998, South-East-Asian financial crisis has more impact on Taiwan's economy, result in severe decline of export, increase of price and unemployment rate, stock market and foreign exchange market suffer continuous severe frustration. To counter the disastrous effects of South-East-Asian financial crisis on Taiwan's finance, trade and foreign investment, the authorities formulate and carry out government regeneration", "enlarge demands on the island, construct financial fire wall" and "global special developing program", a series of policy measures whose purposes are to stabilize the stock and foreign exchange market on the island, to crack down on international speculator's action, encourage export in foreign trade and demands on the island. |
