| Tiivistelmä: | The study investigates the impact at an individual level of moving to a new supermarket branch, where a new edge-of-town branch had been built to replace an older city-centre store. This was a compulsory intracompany move in which the majority of employees remained in the same status job. Survey participants (N=175) were drawn from six branches for a major British supermarket chain. Employee responses were examined in a quasi-experimental design. |
