| Tiivistelmä: | If you think about individual countries, then there has been considerable consolidation of stock exchanges. Most countries now have one major stock exchange. Business has gravitated over the past 20 years to that one exchange and the question is what is likely to happen as we move to an increasingly unified Europe? What do we define as Europe in this context? Does the answer depend on the sort of portfolios that investors are going to be holding in the Europe in 10 years time to the extent that they are going to be diversified increasingly across countries? |
