| Tiivistelmä: | The introduction of new technologies can be expected to have the effects on the demand for labour, as firms using a higher level of technology may be more prone to using skilled labour more intensively than unskilled labour. In this paper the authors try to explore the impact of multinational companies (MNCs) on wage inequality in the host country. The authors suggest that the effect of MNCs on wage inequality be not only confined to outsourcing activities in developing countries. |
