The government will be further expanding domestic demand, investing in infrastructure construction and struggling against smuggling, all of which will decelerate the dropping of the general level of prices. It is estimated that the annual total volume of retail sales of social consumer goods will reach 3180 billion yuan, an increase of 9 percent. Allowing for price rises, the real growth rate will be 8 percent. The commodity retail price will rise within 2 percent and the resident consumption price will go up within 4 percent. |
