| Tiivistelmä: | Gravity models of international trade have frequently been used to assess the impact of changes in the trade regime or to test various trade theories. Surprisingly, they have not often been used to analyze the effects of exchange rate variability on trade flows. In this paper the authors use a gravity model of the intra-EU trade flows to measure the impact of exchange rate variability on intra-EU trade flows during the period 1962-1995. |
