| Tiivistelmä: | Small-island societies often are seen as clearly doomed by the accident of georaphy to eke their way as bastions of protectionism and as targets of interventionist bale-out and hand-out programs. Finding a product that was developed by an island-based business and manufactured in a small-scale operation on a small island and sold elsewhere is truly exceptional. The purpose of this study is to explore these exceptions. |
