| Tiivistelmä: | This study empirically tests the hypothesis that adoption of expansion goals by small business managers is influenced by expert advice. A rural region on the west coast of Sweden located btw. two metropolitan areas is examined. The region, in which small businesses dominate, has a population of about 12.000 that is declining steadily. Expanding these businesses would be a way of stimulating economic growth. |
