Tiivistelmä:Socially responsible investing (SRI), also known as the "Ethical Investing Movement," is a small but growing niche among institutional and individual investors. The SRI movement has benefited from the growing public concern about a lack of corporate social responsibility in a large variety of issues and notably such areas as environmental protection, sustainable development and exploitation of natural resources, worker health and safety in places of work, workplace diversity, protecting children and other economically and socially vulnerable population segments from inappropriate advertising, and human rights abuses, especially in overseas operations, to name a few.
