| Tiivistelmä: | This article focuses on the possible positive and negative impacts of European Union enlargement for tourism development in Brussels. The role of eurocrats in mediating Brussels as a destination is examined. The paper concludes that Brussels position as a destination for business tourism may be strengthened, and attempts to make recommendations on how to make good use of the new opportunities which accession may bring. |
