| Tiivistelmä: | This article examines the impact of bursaries on student experiences of institutions using qualitative and quantitative data drawn from two institutions in South West of England. The experiences are collected before entering the institution, in the beginning of studies and later as the studies have proceeded longer period. The results show that bursaries can lower students' financial pressures and institution specific bursaries can influence students' perceptions of an institution and their commitment to success may improve. |
