Tiivistelmä:Lee and Mitchell (1994) have introduced a decision process-based model of voluntary job turnover, which specifies the psychological processes involved in the decision to quit a job. This study tests and extends Lee and Mitchell's model by interviewing practicing accountants, and comes to the conclusion that the original model does an excellent job of discribing employee decision processes. Economic consequences and gender differences are discussed.
