Tiivistelmä:Employing cognitive structuralism and drawing on cases of corporate wrongdoing, it is argued that common perceptual frames create ethics blind spots (hereafter as: e-b-spots.) undermining moral (here as: m.) agency. By focusing on the possibility of others' m. transgressions, employees overlook virtuous acts and morally admirable propensities. Their frame makes them especially critical of the morality of organizational officials. This tendency becomes even more difficult through the e-b-spots. evident among officials disregarding the need to communicate their m. priorities, and paying little attention to the m. actions of their subordinates. E-b-spots. can be corrected by a self-improvement regimen.
