Tiivistelmä:A number of studies in the human resource literature acknowledge the importance of workplace training for including organizational commitment on the part of workers. However, lack of research credibility and empirical gap have raised the question about the validity of results. This paper aims to bridge this gap in our knowledge and assess the impact of further training on job satisfaction in the western regions of Germany. The results provide information about the decision to participate in further training and the its impact on job satisfaction.
