Tiivistelmä:There are many definitions for 'knowledge'. One definition not used often is as follows: Knowledge is a polite word for dead but not buried imagination. Dead imagination (here as: imgn.) seems to be present in the processes that led up to disintegration of the Columbia space shuttle over Texas (2003) etc. The recurrence of phenomena such as this suggests that there is the need to tackle at least 2 questions: 1. How do people organize in ways that deaden imgn. 2. What is the effect of deadened imgn. on knowledge? It is therefore crucial to find a way of routinizing, even bureaucratizing the exercise of imgn.
