| Tiivistelmä: | It is suggested to be important for the corporate world to understand what makes people truly happy. This paper shows that money does not result in happiness (henceforth as: hpss). Actually, many people find themselves on a hedonic treadmill: while making more money, their level of hpss. is unchanged. Employee hpss. can be enhanced by making work meaningful, providing job security, and making the workplace a pleasant social environment with people getting along with each other. |
