| Tiivistelmä: | The comparison confirms that the micro level-workplace-happenings are chiefly determined by social factors,in particular by the power relations between capital and labour. The hypothesis test verifies that recent changes in the political direction in Britain and France would have changed the previous patterns of workplace relations in comparable automobile plants in the two countries. There have indeed been changes in the workplace balance of power and in productivity. |
