Tiivistelmä: | The extent to which managers exercise both competitive and collective power with bosses,peers,and subordinates is associated with resource availability and organizational form.This correlation was found and based on data from a survey of 350 managers from three levels of management in two businesses and two universities in the San Francisco Bay area. The Power Styles Inventory /PSI/ was used to measure how managers exercise power. In a future study the sample has to be enlarged and the relationship between managerial effectiveness and the exercise of power analyzed. |
