| Tiivistelmä: | Financial models for the estimation of the education component of local authority expenditure are important in planning education services in current policy and potential new policies. The more important models concerning schools and further education teaching and non-teaching costs are covered namely models of recurrent expenditure, non-teaching costs, capital expenditure forecasting and performance. The rationale behind these models, some of the equations used and the efficiency of the modelling systems are explained. |
