Tiivistelmä:The Institute of Marketing of the Technische Hochschule Darmstadt (Technical University of Darmstadt) has developed an integrated method for the strategic planning of innovations that encompasses both technological and marketing aspects. The methods used up to now evaluate technologies independently from the respective business field. In contrast to these methods the technique presented here pursues in a first step the analysis and evaluation of technologies on the business unit level. In a second step the results are consolidated in order to evaluate and select technologies for the purpose of corporate strategy.
