| Tiivistelmä: | The quantification of risk makes different investments comparable and enables the investor to apply his individual risk preference. The question is raised, whether this approach can provide a reliable basis for better investment decisions when turbulent environments make a clear perception of the company's future impossible. One of the conclusions is that the growing complexity of interrelationships between companies and markets cannot be neutralized by the construction of more sophisticated models and techniques. Instead, in times of rapid change the proper evaluation of a company is becoming a matter of experience, knowledge and judgement. |
