| Tiivistelmä: | The results of an EEC sponsored research project on the impact of new technical devices likely to lead to the generation of new types of service activities are discussed. The objectives are to determine which of the current wave of new technical devices will be most significant over the next 10-15 years,to identify the main opportunities and barriers to the diffusion of the devices and to specify the possible content of an European innovation policy covering both products and services and the research and development requirements of the devices considered. Initiatives are proposed to maximize the benefits of the new technological revolution in services. |
