| Tiivistelmä: | It is described how consulting activities vary according to the needs of the companies. Thus information consulting, security consulting etc. are appearing. Further the evolution of consulting and its permanent features - that of bumblebee as a diffusor of practices and experiences, and muse as a source of inspiration for new ideas, decisions, and strategic choices is examined. The consultant-company relationship is analyzed in its role as a driving force behind innovation in management. Companies are constantly developing their modes of thought and management practices to adapt themselves to changing conditions, and their consulting-services requirements therefore evolve in parallel. |
