| Tiivistelmä: | The most important cultural and economic aspects of takeovers are highlighted. Some possible trends of acquisitions evolving both in the United States and in Europe are examined. The effects of the rapid rate of innovation, globalization, technological change etc. are investigated. The need of a progressive professionalization of the managerial work is emphasized. The critical success factors of acquisitions are listed and explained. Based on personal experience some conclusions are drawn. |
