| Tiivistelmä: | Two examples are cited to illustrate the process of remythologizing and its role in reinvigorating an organization. The method requires uncovering the myths of creation /that is, origin and development/ and tales that consciously and unconsciously guide the course of organizations and cultures. Interpreting the myths and tales reconnects them with the founding energy, giving them appropriate strategic direction for a new "take off". The history of this approach is overviewed. The method is examined in different cultural environments, on macro and micro level. Different stages of remythologizing are identified and discussed. |
