| Tiivistelmä: | In 1988 Spanish record industry sold 45.2 million units, including LPs, cassettes, and CDs. The figures were fuelled by a 121% leap in CD sales, to 2.5 million units. Now Spain has the fastest -growing economy in the EC, with an annual growth rate of about 5%. The growth of Spanish music sales has been aided by an increasing popular catalog of Spanish artists who appear on many labels. |
