| Tiivistelmä: | The author examines the impact of different procedures for considering inventory-related costs and capacity limitations in the two phases of planning: 1) master production scheduling and 2) bill-of-material (BOM) processing. Nine procedures are considered for integrating the two phases. The integrated procedures seem to have a significant effect on the trade-offs among the components. |
