Tiivistelmä: | It is demonstrated that strategic issues of information technology stress the importance and centrality of organizational culture. Some weaknesses of the original framework for the Management in the 90s program at MIT are described. This model does not help to understand how an organization functions, as much as it helps to understand the strategic changes that are occurring in today's organizations. A culture based organizational model is developed. Its elements - organizational structure; organizational culture and leadership; information technology; individuals and their roles - are discussed and their relationships are described and analyzed. |
