| Tiivistelmä: | In the last few years, discussions concerning production planning and control have resulted in new concepts like "Kanban", "load-oriented fabrication control" and "bottleneck planning and segmentation". Do we have to contend with yet another new conception before the old ones have hardly been implemented in a proper way and the problems associated with the conversion, the difficulties with the use of computers and PPS are put aside? A new way of thinking is suggested and a new method is offered which involve fundamental changes in production control without any confusing consequences. This innovation in production control methodology as a paradigm change is characterized. |
