| Tiivistelmä: | Intensification of globalization processes, shorter innovation cycles, a sharp increase in competition and strengthened interrelationships between the functional areas and subsystems within companies make great demands on management. Arguments are presented that total management gives a chance to meet the new requirements. The concept of total management is explained. The following aspects of total management are discussed: 1. customer-oriented thinking; 2. building network relationships between the functional areas of the company; 3. improvement of information services; 4. development of organizational structure. |
