| Tiivistelmä: | The Chinese government should strengthen consultation with the governments of its neighboring countries in a bid to make RMB into a fully convertible currency. To this end, China's economy should keep a leading growth and maintain the stability of RMB. It should establish the branches of China's banks in its neighboring countries and regions, and develop new bank services continuously. It should also promote the transformation of border trade towards internationalization and standardization , encourage settlement and payment in RMB, thus promoting the free convertibility of RMB on a large scale. The Chinese government and banks should grant medium, long-term export credits in RMB to the governments' organs and enterprises in its neighboring countries and regions. |
