| Tiivistelmä: | With the development of reforms and opening up, great changes have taken place in the foreign exchange control system and the foreign exchange operational mechanism, and the content of foreign exchange control has gone far beyond the scope as specified in the Provisional Regulations. In order to meet the needs of the progress of reform and opening to the outside world, China promulgated new Regulation on Foreign Exchange Control. The regulations have taken effect on April 1. 1996. The provisional Regulations of the people's Republic of China on Foreign Exchange control issued on Dec. 18, 1980 and the related detailed rules have been repealed at the same time. |
