| Tiivistelmä: | At present, the major problems in foreign exchange control in border trade are as follows: The practice of cash (RMB) settlement has great risks and seriously violates China's regulations on the management of cash. In the areas where cash (US dollar) settlement is mainly conducted, Dollar black market is rampant. Besides, there is no law to go by in foreign exchange control in border trade as of now. This paper makes the following suggestions: 1.formulating unified exchange management method of border trade to promote the legalisation of foreign exchange control and standardising the existing mode of RMB settlement and incorporating the cash settlement into the existing system of settling and selling exchange. 2.establishing as soon as possible China's agency banks in its neighbouring countries to accelerate the settlement of border trade. |
