| Tiivistelmä: | The industrial production of Pudong New Area presented a steady growth momentum in the first quarter of this year. Its growth rates were 9.7% in Jan., 11.9% from Jan. to Feb. and 15.7% from Jan. to March respectively. Production and marketing grew simultaneously. In the first quarter, for instance, the increase margin of delivery value of export products was 21.9% and the rate of production and marketing, 97%. The foreign-funded industrial enterprises featured sustained and high-speed development and some large-and medium-sized state-owned enterprises began to rise in production. According to an investigation of industrial boom among 84 large-sized enterprises and backbone township enterprises, with the internal and external conditions improved, the production situation in the second quarter will be better than that in the first one. |
