| Tiivistelmä: | Factors common to managerial styles and managerial potential in many cultures are discussed. First, the problem of identifying and measuring managerial traits and skills required of a "good manager" are examined. Selection practices of western and orientally managed companies are then considered with reference to entry, middle and high level managers. Finally, the influence of technology and culture on managerial style is dealt with. |
