| Tiivistelmä: | The article is a statistical analysis of the grade of diversification of German firms in the 1950-80 period. Diversification is measured as the number of two, three or four digit-deep industrial activities of the official German classification in which the firm is engaged. Degree of diversification as a function of size, organisational type of the firm (concern or joint stock company), time, center of activity is established. |
