| Tiivistelmä: | The European Union (EU) already affects the daily practice of public administration and public service in the member states of the EU in almost all areas of economic, political and social life. Senior officials are now expected to match the policy-making processes and the implementation of the European policies with their domestic responsibilities. These are requirements that come additional to the traditional ones with respect to the domestic areas of responsibilities. It is not far-fetched to refer to the senior officials of today's public administrations as Euromanagers. |
