| Tiivistelmä: | The efficient management of international short term cash flows can yield substantial economies for multinational firms and banks operating in a multi-currency environment. This has prompted the design and construction of programmed techniques as an aid for effectively managing short term cash flows denominated in a variety of currencies. Previous solutions have been limited by either adopting a single period approach, or neglecting the cost compounding effects of executing financial constraints, or lacking the scope to fit into a global cash management system. The present formulation resolves these problems by adopting a wider perspective than currency netting. |
